Does Bovada Have a Public API?
No. Bovada has no public API, no developer portal and no API key you can request. We found no Bovada API documentation and no data product of any kind. A third-party Bovada odds API fills the gap: it collects Bovada's prices and serves them in one format next to other books. Our sportsbook API guide explains how a feed like that collects and delivers prices.
The one program Bovada runs for outsiders is for affiliates. The Bovada Affiliate Program pays commissions for players you refer, and it hands you tracking links and reports. It hands you no odds. We also found no deal that licenses Bovada's odds to a media company, so no official channel to its prices exists at all.
Three Ways to Get Bovada Odds
1. An odds API that carries Bovada
With no official channel, this is where Bovada data comes from. The aggregator collects Bovada's offshore prices next to the regulated books and serves both in one schema, by REST or by a push feed. You sign up, take a key and ask for Bovada as the bookmaker. The provider keeps its collector working when Bovada changes its site. You can start on a free tier and grow into an enterprise feed, and our free odds API guide shows what the free plans get you.
2. A licensed feed
This route does not exist for Bovada. The book sells no feed, and we found no contract that licenses its odds to media partners or to anyone else. A Bovada price in your app will come from route one or route three.
3. Scraping
Bovada is a common scraping target, and it puts few technical barriers in front of its pages. Its sports page answered our plain scripted request with no login and no bot check. The Bovada Terms of Service shut that route anyway. They say that players must take every action through the site's own interface, and that Bovada will detect and stop robot software. They also bar you from copying, reselling or trading its services, and from commercial use of its content without a licence.
Our advice is to buy the feed. A scraper breaks your agreement with the book and leaves you maintaining code for one site. An odds API gives you Bovada and the regulated books in one format, and someone else fixes the collector.
For the feeds that do carry Bovada, the table below gives one row per odds API in our directory, with the source and date behind each claim.
Odds APIs That Carry Bovada
A verified row comes from our own API check, so it shows the leagues and the market families where we saw Bovada prices. A row from docs rests on the book list that the provider publishes. That list names Bovada but not the leagues or the markets, so the row has no per-league data. Live odds, free tier and price come from our directory research, never from the probe. Some provider links are affiliate links.

What Bovada Odds API Data You Can Get
That table mixes probe results with documentation. Rows marked verified show the leagues and market families where our probe caught Bovada prices, and docs rows rely on the book list a provider publishes. Across the verified rows you get moneylines, spreads and totals for the NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL, plus college football, the WNBA, UFC, tennis and the big soccer leagues.
Player props are in the verified Bovada rows too, plus period markets such as halves and quarters. Bovada sells itself on props: its affiliate page promises "endless prop bets from virtually every sports league in the world." Our player props API guide covers how feeds structure those markets.
Same-game parlays are on the menu. Bovada's sports page offers Same Game Parlay and Same Game Parlay+, along with cash out. Ask your provider about SGP prices up front, before any feature depends on them.
Live odds are part of the pitch as well, and the sports page has its own live betting section. Each provider's own docs supply the live column in the table. Our live sports odds API guide covers how in-play feeds deliver prices and how fast.
Why Bovada Odds Matter
Bovada is an offshore book. It takes US customers but holds no US state licence, and its site footer cites licences from the Union of the Comoros and the Central Reserve Authority of Western Sahara. It launched in December 2011 as the US-facing successor to Bodog, when the Bodog brand left the US market. State regulators now address its operator as Harp Media B.V., a Curaçao company.
That status is the reason its lines are worth collecting. Many US bettors outside the regulated states see Bovada's lines, so its prices show a market that the state-licensed books do not. A model built only on regulated books leaves that market out.
Put Bovada next to DraftKings and FanDuel and you see where the offshore and the regulated markets disagree on the same game. Store both over a season and you can measure which side moves first when news breaks, and how far the other follows. Add BetOnline and you have two offshore books to check against each other as well.
Use Cases for Bovada Odds API Data
Offshore against regulated. Show Bovada's price beside the regulated books for each game, and track the gap. Run the Coverage Map for Bovada with your regulated books added, and it shows which plans carry the whole set.
Pricing quality against a sharp book. Use a sharp market such as Pinnacle as the yardstick and measure how far Bovada drifts from it, by sport and by market. The result tells you where Bovada's trading is tight and where it is loose.
Props research. Run Bovada's player props through a projection model. Flag the props where its line sits away from your number and away from the regulated books, then watch which line moves toward the other.
Closing lines. Store Bovada's opening and closing price for each market. Compare its close with the regulated closes, and you see how the offshore market finishes against the regulated one over a season. That comparison needs stored history, and our historical odds guide covers how far back the feeds go.
Before You Build
Showing Bovada odds as market data is one thing. Sending users to bet there is another, and we would not do it from a US app. Check two things before you launch.
First, read your provider's terms on display. A plan limited to internal use cannot back a public app, so you need one that allows redistribution. Second, know the map. Bovada's own terms bar players in 19 states plus Washington, D.C.: Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Vermont and West Virginia. State regulators, Massachusetts among them in October 2024, have also sent its operators cease-and-desist letters. Treat the lines as data and leave the sign-up links out. This is not legal advice.
