Terms of Service

These terms apply to the website at sportsapis.dev, the data we publish at /directory.json, and our ChatGPT plugin. By using any of them, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use them. Questions go to info@SportsAPIs.dev.

What SportsAPIs.dev is

SportsAPIs.dev is an independent directory and review site, operated by JediBets, LLC ("we", "us"). We research sports data and odds API providers and publish what we find: feature support, pricing, free tiers, and our opinion. We are not an API provider. We do not sell or resell any provider's data, and we are not a party to any contract you sign with a provider.

No betting services or advice

We publish information for developers. We do not take wagers, we do not publish odds for any match, and we do not give betting picks, predictions or advice. Nothing on this site or in the plugin is a recommendation to bet. If you build a product that touches betting, you are responsible for complying with the laws where you and your users live, including age limits and licensing.

Accuracy

We check providers by hand and note when we last reviewed each one. Providers change their products and prices without telling us. Treat our pages as a starting point and confirm the details in the provider's own documentation before you build or pay. We provide the site, the data and the plugin "as is" and make no warranty that they are complete, current or fit for your purpose.

Affiliate links

Some links to providers carry a referral code. If you sign up through one, the provider may pay us a commission. It costs you nothing and it does not change what we write. We mark these relationships on the site. Featured partners pay for placement and a badge; their feature statuses are researched the same way as everyone else's.

Using our content and data

The reviews, guides, feature data and design of this site belong to JediBets, LLC. You may quote or cite our data, including /directory.json and plugin results, if you link to sportsapis.dev as the source. You may not copy whole pages, republish the directory as your own, or use automated requests at a rate that burdens the site. Providers listed in the directory may embed the badge we give them on their own site.

ChatGPT plugin

The plugin answers questions about API providers in our directory. It is free to use. We may change, limit or withdraw it at any time. We do not promise uptime. The plugin has no access to your ChatGPT account or conversation; see the privacy policy for what it receives.

Community

Our Discord server has its own rules, posted in the server. Discord's terms apply there as well.

Third-party sites

Links to providers, Discord, Reddit, X and other sites take you to services we do not control. Their terms and privacy policies apply once you are there.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, JediBets, LLC is not liable for any loss that comes from using the site, the data or the plugin, including losses from decisions you make based on our content, from a provider's service, or from any bet. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us, which is nothing.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
