Does DraftKings Have a Public API?

No. DraftKings has no public API, no developer portal and no API key program. A search for DraftKings API documentation or a DraftKings API key ends in the same place: a DraftKings odds API from a third party, which collects DraftKings prices and serves them to developers next to other books. For the mechanics behind those feeds, read our sportsbook API guide.

DraftKings licenses its odds to big media companies and nobody else. From December 1, 2025 it became the exclusive Official Sportsbook and Odds Provider of ESPN, and it powers the betting tab in the ESPN app. In 2021 it signed a multi-year deal as the official odds supplier for iHeartMedia's broadcast, digital and podcast platforms. Each of those is a contract between two companies, and no program exists that a developer or a small business can join.

The DraftKings affiliate program offers a contact form and an account manager, and it says nothing about an odds feed, a widget or data access. DraftKings Predictions, the event contract side of the company, has no public developer API that we could confirm. Its exchange, DKeX, lets approved market makers connect by API. That program gives trading firms exchange access. It gives an app developer no odds.

Three Ways to Get DraftKings Odds

1. An odds API that carries DraftKings

Pick this route first. An aggregator pulls DraftKings prices along with those of other books and returns them in one schema, by REST or by a push feed. You sign up, get a key and make your first call the same day, and the provider deals with DraftKings' bot filters so you never touch them. If you have never called an odds API, our getting started guide walks through the first request.

2. A licensed feed

ESPN and iHeartMedia got DraftKings odds by contract, one deal at a time. The other contract route is an enterprise feed from the official data partners of the leagues, built for sportsbooks and broadcasters. Both mean sales calls, legal review and a negotiated price. An app or a betting tool gets the same DraftKings lines faster through route one.

3. Scraping

Scraping DraftKings is a bad idea. Buy the feed. The New Jersey sportsbook terms list as prohibited conduct the use of "bots, scripts, artificial intelligence, programs, parser, spiders, screen scrapers" to interact with the site, including to collect its content, and they say the content is for your personal use only. The sportsbook runs Akamai bot detection, and our own plain requests to its legal pages came back refused. DraftKings has acted on this before: in 2016 it sent a cease-and-desist letter that told a daily fantasy tools site to stop scraping its data. A scraper puts your account at risk and invites the same kind of letter.

The table below covers our whole directory: every odds API that carries DraftKings, each one dated and sourced.

Odds APIs That Carry DraftKings

Coverage data from 28 October 2026: 23 odds APIs carry DraftKings, 3 verified by our own probe and 20 from the provider's own book list.

A verified row comes from our own API check, so it shows the leagues and the market families where we saw DraftKings prices. A row from docs rests on the book list that the provider publishes. That list names DraftKings but not the leagues or the markets, so the row has no per-league data. Live odds, free tier and price come from our directory research, never from the probe. Some provider links are affiliate links.

What DraftKings Odds API Data You Can Get

Rows in that table rest on one of two sources, our own probe or the provider's docs. Verified rows show the leagues and market families where we saw DraftKings prices: moneylines, spreads and totals across the NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL, plus college football, soccer and more. Where a row cites docs, you know only that the provider lists DraftKings, not which leagues it covers.

Player props are where DraftKings goes deepest. The book sells thousands of individual player props, and many of them split by half, period or quarter. The verified rows include DraftKings player props that our probe saw. With that many props per game, schema matters, and our player props API guide shows how feeds structure them.

Live betting is the company's stated priority. In February 2025 its CEO called live betting DraftKings' "No. 1 area of focus" for the year, and in 2024 DraftKings bought a micro-betting provider to build in-play micro markets. For in-play delivery, read our live sports odds API guide.

Same-game parlays come in two forms: the SGP and SGPx, which adds singles, parlays or other SGPs to a same-game parlay on one ticket. Before you build on SGP or SGPx prices, check that your provider carries them. DraftKings shows American odds by default, with a switch to decimal and fractional.

Why DraftKings Odds Matter

DraftKings odds are the odds ESPN shows. Since December 2025 DraftKings has been ESPN's exclusive odds provider, with a full rollout across ESPN in 2026, and the old ESPN BET brand now carries DraftKings Sportsbook integrations. A fan who checks a line on ESPN sees a DraftKings price, and that fan will hold your screen up against it.

The footprint is wide. DraftKings takes mobile or retail bets in 30 states, Washington, D.C. and Puerto Rico, plus Alberta and Ontario. A user in any of those markets can bet the DraftKings line, so a US odds screen without it sends that user to a second app.

DraftKings also runs its own technology. It started on a third-party sportsbook platform, bought a platform supplier in 2020 and finished the move in 2021. Today it calls itself the only US-based vertically integrated sports betting operator. Books on different platforms post different numbers, and each gap between DraftKings and the next book is a better price that your users can find. Its prop depth also teaches you how a large US book prices players across halves and quarters, which a single-market feed does not show.

Use Cases for DraftKings Odds API Data

Line shopping. DraftKings is the line ESPN shows, so set FanDuel, BetMGM and Caesars beside it and let them spot the best price at once. Filter the Coverage Map for DraftKings by the other books you need, and it returns the feeds that carry all of them.

Arbitrage and value against sharp books. Measure DraftKings prices against a sharp market such as Pinnacle or Circa. Whenever DraftKings pays above the sharp fair price, the bettor holds positive expected value. When two books disagree far enough, a bettor can take both sides for a locked profit.

Props tools. DraftKings' prop depth makes it the natural first book for a prop screener. Compare its player lines with your projections, and split by quarter or half where the book does.

Closing line value. Capture the DraftKings closing number for every market a user bet, then measure their price against it. Over a season, beating the close says more about skill than wins and losses do. The amount of stored history differs by feed type, and our historical odds guide breaks it down.

Before You Build

DraftKings odds reach your app under a provider's licence, while the bet itself goes through the DraftKings app. Keep those two jobs apart and check two things before launch.

First, read your provider's terms on display, since a public app needs redistribution rights and some plans allow internal use only. Second, mind the map. DraftKings Sportsbook takes bets only where it holds a licence, and in December 2025 DraftKings Predictions went live in 38 states, including California, Texas, Florida and Georgia. Check which DraftKings product a user can reach in their state before you show a "bet at DraftKings" button. The affiliate program gives you tracking links and no data. This is not legal advice.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. DraftKings offers no public API, and it has no developer portal or key program either. It supplies its odds only to large media partners such as ESPN, under contract. Without a contract like ESPN's, your source is a third-party odds API that carries DraftKings.
Not from DraftKings. It has no key program, and its affiliate program gives marketing partners tracking links, not data. You can get a key from any odds API that carries DraftKings, and several of them start free.
Open an account with one of the odds APIs in the table on this page, copy the key, and pass DraftKings as the bookmaker in your request. The provider handles DraftKings' bot detection, and the Coverage Map narrows those APIs by league and market.
You should not. The DraftKings sportsbook terms ban bots, scripts, AI tools, spiders and screen scrapers that collect information from the site, and DraftKings has sent a cease-and-desist letter over scraping before. A breach risks your account and, as that letter shows, legal action. This is not legal advice.
No public developer API for DraftKings Predictions turned up in our research. Its exchange, DKeX, connects approved market makers by API under a market maker program, which is trading access for firms and gives app developers no odds feed.
Yes, since December 1, 2025. ESPN made DraftKings its exclusive Official Sportsbook and Odds Provider, and ESPN BET became a content brand with DraftKings Sportsbook integrations. The lines on ESPN are DraftKings lines.
Many do. Our probe saw DraftKings player props at verified providers, and the table on this page shows live odds per provider, taken from each provider's docs. Check that your feed carries the prop and in-play markets your product needs.
DraftKings keeps its odds for partners like ESPN and offers developers no API, free or paid. You can start free with several third-party feeds that carry the book: the glance card has the count, and our free odds API guide explains what each free plan covers.
