What AnySport Is
AnySport is a football (soccer) data API. One key gets you fixtures, live scores, lineups, standings, top scorers, injuries, head-to-head records and live match stats, plus pre-match and in-play odds on the higher plans. The site claims coverage of more than 900 leagues.
The name suggests more than one sport, but the docs are plain about it: football is the only sport today. Every path sits under https://data.anysport.io/v1/soccer, and the WebSocket handshake takes business=soccer as its only accepted value.
We wrote this review from the public docs. We haven't tested a key yet, so treat the numbers below as the provider's own figures.
Odds: bet365 Only, Two Feeds
The odds endpoints carry a bookmaker field, and the docs say that it is "currently always bet365". So AnySport is a bet365 odds source for football, not a multi-book comparison feed. The docs say more books will come, but no date is given.
- Pre-match odds (
GET /odds/prematch): 63 market types, from match winner, Asian handicap and goal lines to corners, cards and correct score. Query one match bymatch_idor a whole league at a time. Prices refresh by polling, with anupdated_atstamp on each row. - In-play odds (
GET /odds/live): the docs list a 499-entry market dictionary, and say that a live match carries 70 to 80 active markets at once across about 45 bet types. Call it without amatch_idand you get every match that has live markets right now.
All odds are decimal. Handicap lines sit in a handicap field on live markets, but inside the option name on pre-match markets (Over 2.5), so you need two parsers. There are no closing lines, futures or player props in the market lists.
REST and the WebSocket Feed
The REST side is a standard JSON API with page and limit pagination and one as_ match ID that works on every endpoint. Responses can carry Simplified Chinese labels next to the English codes through the lang parameter.
The WebSocket lives at wss://data.anysport.io/v1/ws/live. You connect, then subscribe by numeric code to any of four products on one connection: live match stats, scores, in-play odds and pre-match odds. A filter by league, country or match keeps the stream small. Send a heartbeat about every 30 seconds, stay under 60 messages a minute, and subscribe again after every reconnect, because the server keeps no subscription state.
The live match stats feed is the unusual part. Per the docs it pushes ball coordinates, shots, cards and possession during play, which suits match trackers and in-play models. See our live odds API guide for how push feeds compare.
AnySport Pricing and the Free Trial
AnySport sells four plans, all priced in USDT and paid in crypto only. Plans don't renew by themselves: you renew in the dashboard before the plan ends.
- Free Trial: 7 days, 120 requests an hour, 1 a second. Fixtures, live scores, leagues, standings and head-to-head. No odds.
- Basic, 99 USDT/month: 2,000 requests an hour. Adds teams, players, coaches, injuries and lineups.
- Pro, 199 USDT/month: 10,000 requests an hour, 3 a second. Adds pre-match odds.
- ProMax, 399 USDT/month: 20,000 requests an hour, 6 a second. Adds in-play odds and one WebSocket connection.
Longer terms cut the price: 5% for a quarter, 10% for six months and 20% for a year. The trial needs no card, but it can't show you a single price, so you can't judge the odds feed before you pay. For other options see our free odds API comparison.
What It Does Not Cover
- Other sports. Football only, for now. For basketball, tennis or US sports you need a second provider.
- Other books. bet365 only. You can't compare lines or find arbitrage with one book.
- Historical odds. No odds archive is documented. To build one, store the WebSocket stream yourself. Compare historical odds sources.
- Card payments. USDT is the only currency, which some company finance teams can't pay.
- An odds trial. The free trial has no odds endpoints, so your first odds request costs 199 USDT.
Who AnySport Is For
AnySport fits a football app that wants scores, lineups, live stats and odds from one schema with one match ID. A live scoreboard, a match tracker or a bet365-priced in-play model is the natural use.
It's a weaker fit if you need prices from more than one book, sports other than football, or a free way to test the odds. In those cases look at the multi-book feeds in our soccer odds API guide.
Verdict
AnySport is a young football API with clear docs, a deep in-play market list and a WebSocket that carries both stats and odds. The limits are real: one sport, one book, crypto-only billing and odds behind a 199 USDT plan. If bet365 football prices plus match data in one feed is what you need, it is worth a trial once we can test a paid key. If you need line shopping, it isn't the tool.
