What TifoSports Is

TifoSports sells one product: a data feed for people who run a sportsbook. One key gets you a sports menu, fixtures, every market with pre-match and live prices, scoreboards, and the result of each outcome (won, lost or void). It all comes over REST and a WebSocket, in one data model across sports.

This is one line per market, the way a bookmaker's own feed works. It is not an odds comparison API with prices from many books. The site says plainly that TifoSports is not a rights holder and does not call its data official.

The service is new: the site went live in October 2026. We wrote this review from the public docs and the live board on their site. We haven't tested a key yet.

Coverage: 15 Sports, 2,275 Competitions

The coverage page reads its numbers from the feed's own catalogue. When we checked, it listed 15 sports, 2,275 competitions and 144 countries. Football is the bulk of it with 817 competitions, from the Premier League down to Brazilian state U20 cups. Basketball has 303, volleyball 201 and handball 143.

US sports are thin. American football has 4 competitions and baseball 6, so treat this as an international feed. Tennis, table tennis, snooker, badminton and darts are in. Esports (CS2, Dota 2, League of Legends), cricket and boxing are on the list of sports they plan to add.

A single Champions League match showed 193 priced markets on the live board. For a soccer-first comparison, see our soccer odds API guide.

Settlement, Including In-Play

Settlement is the part most odds APIs leave to you. Here it is in the feed. Each outcome is pending, then won, lost or void, and the result is pushed on the WebSocket and readable over REST.

  • Settled in play. A market gets its result as soon as the match decides it. Over 2.5 settles when the third goal goes in, not at full time.
  • VAR holds. If a goal goes to review, the markets it touches stay pending until the check closes.
  • Corrections. A withdrawn result comes through, followed by the new one.
  • One id per event. The pre-match and in-play fixture share one event id, so outcome ids you saw before kick-off settle under the same id.

GET /v1/outcomes?ids= returns each outcome's price, status and result now, which is what you call before you accept a bet slip. GET /v1/settlements lists results in order, with a since cursor to resume after downtime.

REST and the WebSocket

The REST API lives at https://api.tifosports.com/v1 with a Bearer key. Ids are numbers and never change, so you map the sports, leagues and market dictionary once and cache them. An OpenAPI file and an AsyncAPI file are public, and the docs end with three sample clients.

The WebSocket uses the Pusher protocol, so any Pusher client library connects. You get event, market, stats and settlements messages, plus a feed.alive heartbeat every 10 seconds. Every message carries a seq number that rises by one, so you can see a gap and recover over REST. That is a careful design for a feed that a sportsbook depends on. Our live odds API guide compares other push feeds.

Limits are the same in the trial and on Pro: 120 REST requests a minute, 2 WebSocket connections per key, one allowed IP per key, and 30 days of settled history.

TifoSports Pricing and the Free Trial

TifoSports has one plan, Pro, at $750 a month or $7,500 a year. No contract and no setup fee.

  • Trial: 14 days of full Pro, every sport, REST and WebSocket, settlement included. The days start at your key's first API call, not at signup. No payment to start, one trial per company.
  • Payment: Bitcoin only. No card or bank transfer. You get a receipt with your company details.
  • Refunds and renewal: crypto payments are final, so to cancel you don't renew. After a missed renewal the key keeps working for 7 days, then stops.
  • Support: email, in the trial and on Pro. No uptime SLA yet; GET /v1/status shows the feed's state.

For context, the site compares itself with sportsbook feeds that start near $5,000 a month and need a contract. For cheaper odds-only options, see our free odds API comparison.

What It Does Not Cover

  • Many books' prices. One line per market. You can't line-shop or find arbitrage with it.
  • Historical odds. Settled results go back 30 days. No odds archive is documented. Compare historical odds sources.
  • The sportsbook platform. Bet placement, wallets, risk, cash-out and bet builder stay with you. See our sportsbook API guide.
  • Esports and deep US coverage. Esports is on the roadmap, and US leagues are a small part of the catalogue today.
  • Card or invoice billing. Bitcoin is the only way to pay.

Who TifoSports Is For

TifoSports fits a small or new sportsbook, a crypto book or a betting app that needs prices and settlement from one source and can't wait weeks for a contract. It also suits a team that wants a backup feed to check its main provider's results.

It is a weaker fit if you want odds from many books, deep US sports coverage, or a provider with a long track record and an uptime SLA.

Verdict

TifoSports puts odds and in-play settlement in one self-serve feed at a fraction of the usual sportsbook-feed price. The docs are among the clearest we have read, and the sequence numbers and recovery calls show the people behind it know what a book needs. It is also brand new and Bitcoin-only, with no SLA yet. The 14-day trial covers everything, so run it on a busy weekend before you pay.
